Facing the Refiner’s Fire can be a “hazardous to your health” kind of concept if you do not realize your identity in Christ. If you go into it thinking that it is all up to what you have done and what your abilities are, you may not even enter it. But the Word of God says that one day we will all stand before our Sovereign God to give an account of what our lives amounted to.
